About this course

Every software team needs testers, and test automation engineer is one of the most hired roles for freshers in India: a role you can enter without a programming background and grow into automation, API and performance testing. This course covers the full path: manual testing done properly, then automation with the tools companies use today.

The course starts with the fundamentals (SDLC and STLC, test levels and types, test case design techniques, bug life cycle, Jira and Agile) and the testing of real web and mobile applications, with SQL for testers. You then learn programming for testers (Java and Python essentials), Selenium WebDriver with TestNG and the page object model, Playwright with TypeScript for modern web automation, API testing with Postman and REST Assured, and performance testing basics with JMeter.

You then build frameworks (data-driven, BDD with Cucumber), run tests in CI with GitHub Actions and Jenkins, use Git, and see mobile testing with Appium and AI tools for testers. The course ends with a portfolio (test plans, bug reports, two automation frameworks on GitHub), ISTQB Foundation preparation and interview preparation. Every topic is done live, and every session is recorded.
