About this course

Sales and Distribution (SD) is the SAP S/4HANA module that sells and delivers what a company makes: quotations, sales orders, deliveries, invoices and the pricing and credit rules behind them. It runs the order-to-cash cycle, and every company that sells on SAP, from manufacturing and pharma to FMCG and trading, needs SD consultants and key users who understand both the business process and its configuration.

The course starts with S/4HANA itself (the move from ECC, SAP GUI and Fiori, the SAP Activate methodology) and the sales enterprise structure: sales organizations, distribution channels, divisions, sales areas, plants and shipping points. You then build the master data (Business Partner customers with partner functions, material sales views and customer-material info records) and run the full process: inquiries, quotations and sales orders with item and schedule line categories, copy control and incompletion, contracts and scheduling agreements, pricing with the condition technique and GST, availability check with advanced ATP, credit management, output with BRF+, outbound deliveries with picking, packing and post goods issue, and billing with billing plans, revenue account determination and the accounting document.

You then cover the special sales processes (third-party sales, consignment, intercompany stock transport and billing, make-to-order and returns) and the Fiori apps and analytics a sales team works with. The course ends with the SD-MM, SD-FI/CO and SD-PP integration points, data migration with the Migration Cockpit, a full case study and preparation for the SAP Certified Associate exam in S/4HANA Sales. Every topic is shown live in an SAP S/4HANA system, and every session is recorded.
