About this course

Quality Management (QM) is the SAP S/4HANA module that checks what a company buys, makes and ships: inspection plans and sampling, inspection lots at goods receipt, in production and at delivery, results recording and usage decisions, quality notifications and complaints, certificates and audits. Pharma, automotive, chemicals, food and engineering companies on SAP need QM consultants and quality engineers who know the module.

The course starts with S/4HANA itself (SAP GUI and Fiori, the SAP Activate methodology) and the place of QM in the supply chain, then builds the QM master data: the material master QM view and inspection types, master inspection characteristics, inspection methods, catalogs and code groups, sampling procedures, dynamic modification rules and inspection plans. You then run quality inspection end to end: inspection lots from goods receipt, production and delivery, results and defects recording, usage decisions with stock postings, sample management and batches.

You then handle quality notifications and complaints with tasks, activities and the 8D report, quality certificates in sales and procurement, control charts, audit management, FMEA and stability studies, and the Fiori apps and analytics of a quality engineer. The course ends with the QM integration with MM, PP, SD and PM, a plant case study and preparation for the SAP Certified Associate exam in S/4HANA Quality Management. Every topic is shown live in an SAP S/4HANA system, and every session is recorded.
