About this course
Plant Maintenance (PM), SAP Enterprise Asset Management in S/4HANA, keeps a company's machines, plants and buildings running: breakdown repairs, preventive maintenance plans, refurbishment, calibration and the costs behind them. Manufacturing, utilities, oil and gas, pharma and infrastructure companies on SAP need PM consultants and maintenance planners who know the module.
The course starts with S/4HANA itself (SAP GUI and Fiori, the SAP Activate methodology) and the maintenance organisation (maintenance and planning plants, work centers, planner groups), then builds the technical objects: functional locations, equipment, serial numbers, bills of material, classification, measuring points and counters. You then run corrective maintenance end to end: notifications, maintenance orders with operations, components and external services, planning, scheduling, release, execution, confirmations, goods movements, technical completion, settlement and business completion.
You then set up preventive maintenance with task lists, strategies and maintenance plans (single cycle, strategy and multiple counter), refurbishment orders, calibration with QM and work clearance, resource scheduling, SAP Asset Manager and the Fiori apps for technicians and planners, and the PM configuration and reports. The course ends with the PM integration with MM, CO, asset accounting, QM and PS, a plant case study and preparation for the SAP Certified Associate exam in S/4HANA Asset Management. Every topic is shown live in an SAP S/4HANA system, and every session is recorded.
