About this course
Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) are the SAP S/4HANA modules every company runs its books on: the General Ledger, payables and receivables, banks, fixed assets, taxes and the cost and profit reporting that management decisions rest on. FICO consultants and key users are the most sought-after SAP profiles in India, and the move from ECC to S/4HANA before 2027 has made S/4HANA Finance skills the ones employers ask for.
The course starts with S/4HANA itself (the move from ECC, SAP GUI and Fiori, the SAP Activate methodology) and what changed in Finance: the Universal Journal, Business Partners and the merged FI and CO. You then set up a company from scratch: enterprise structure, ledgers, fiscal year and posting periods, the General Ledger with document splitting and parallel ledgers, Accounts Payable with the automatic payment program, Accounts Receivable with dunning and credit management, bank accounting with electronic bank statements, New Asset Accounting from acquisition to depreciation and retirement, and GST and TDS for India.
On the Controlling side you work with cost centers, internal orders, profit centers, product costing and Margin Analysis, and you close a period end to end: GR/IR clearing, accruals, foreign currency valuation, settlements, balance carry forward and the financial statements. The course ends with the FI-MM and FI-SD integration points, data migration with the Migration Cockpit, a full case study and preparation for the SAP Certified Associate exam in S/4HANA Financial Accounting. Every topic is shown live in an SAP S/4HANA system, and every session is recorded.
