About this course

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is SAP's one tool for business intelligence, planning and predictive analytics in the cloud, and the standard front end for S/4HANA, BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere. Every SAP customer moving its reporting and budgeting to the cloud needs SAC consultants and analysts who can connect the data, build the models and stories and run the planning cycle.

The course starts with the SAC tenant, its roles and licences and where it sits beside SAP Datasphere and Business Data Cloud, then connects data: live connections to S/4HANA and Datasphere, import connections from BW, SQL, files and cloud sources, with data wrangling and refresh schedules. You then model data (dimensions, measures, hierarchies, accounts, currency conversion, data access control) and build stories and dashboards with charts, tables, filters, input controls, calculations, linked analysis, conditional formatting and the optimized story experience.

You then run planning in SAC: planning models, versions, data entry, spreading, allocations, data actions and advanced formulas, multi actions, value driver trees, calendars and input tasks, plus the Digital Boardroom, analytic applications, Smart Insights, Smart Predict and Just Ask with Joule. The course ends with administration and content transport, SAP Datasphere spaces, views and analytic models, a sales and finance dashboard case study and preparation for the SAP Certified Associate exam for the SAP Analytics Cloud Data Analyst. Every topic is built live in a SAC tenant, and every session is recorded.
