SAP ABAP Development: RICEF, CDS Views and OData

Hands-on SAP ABAP in 50 live hours: reports, ALV, interfaces, BDC and LSMW, enhancements, forms, CDS views and OData services.

Live batches with a trainer · Level: Beginner · Duration: 50 hours · Language: English · Fee: ₹24,999

About this course

ABAP is the programming language of SAP. Every SAP project needs developers who can build and fix RICEF objects: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements and Forms. This 50-hour live course teaches them step by step, from the basics of the language to the CDS views and OData services used in SAP S/4HANA.

You start with the ABAP fundamentals: the Data Dictionary, the ABAP Editor, SELECT statements, internal tables, modularization and debugging. Then you build classical, interactive and ALV reports, including an editable ALV; file, BAPI and web service interfaces; data migration with LSMW and BDC (call transaction and session method); user exits, customer exits and BAdIs; and Smart Forms and Adobe Forms.

The last modules cover ABAP for SAP S/4HANA: Core Data Services (CDS) views built in ADT (Eclipse), and OData services created in SEGW, tested in the Gateway client and consumed in a SAPUI5 app. Every topic comes with a practical exercise on real SAP tables such as MARA, MARC, KNA1, BSID and EKPO, and about half of the time is hands-on practice. Every session is recorded.
