Python Programming for Data and AI (Python): From Zero to Pandas, APIs and Automation
Learn Python live from zero: syntax, data structures, functions, OOP, files, errors, NumPy, Pandas, APIs, automation and a first data project; the base for every data and AI course.
Live batches with a trainer · Level: Beginner · Duration: 40 hours · Language: English · Fee: ₹9,999
About this course
Python is the language of data and AI: every data analyst, machine learning engineer and AI developer writes it daily, and it is the first thing a fresher is tested on. This course takes you from zero to confident Python, written the way working developers write it, and prepares you for the Data Analytics, Machine Learning and Generative AI courses.
The course starts with setting up Python, VS Code and Jupyter, and the core language: variables and types, strings, lists, tuples, dictionaries and sets, conditions and loops, functions, modules and packages, comprehensions, errors and exceptions, files and JSON, and object-oriented programming with classes, inheritance and dataclasses. You then work with the data stack: NumPy arrays, Pandas DataFrames (reading, cleaning, filtering, grouping, merging, time series) and charts with Matplotlib and Seaborn.
You then use Python for real work: calling REST APIs and reading web pages, working with SQL databases from Python, automating Excel and files, writing scripts with the command line, virtual environments, Git and GitHub, testing with pytest and clean code habits. The course ends with a data project (collect, clean, analyse and present) and interview preparation for Python rounds. Every topic is coded live, and every session is recorded.
What you will learn
- Set up Python, VS Code, Jupyter and virtual environments, and work with Git and GitHub
- Write Python with the core language: types, strings, lists, dictionaries, sets, conditions, loops and comprehensions
- Structure code with functions, modules, packages and object-oriented programming (classes, inheritance, dataclasses)
- Handle errors, files, CSV and JSON, dates and regular expressions
- Work with NumPy arrays and Pandas DataFrames: cleaning, filtering, grouping, merging and time series
