How to open the Manage Planned Orders Fiori app, what its Header, Assignment, Master Data, Action Control and Component Overview sections show, and how to use them in support.

Planned orders are where MRP and PP/DS planning results land, so they are the first thing to check when a planner reports a wrong quantity, date or component. The Manage Planned Orders app in SAP Fiori brings the order list, its planning data and its components into one screen, instead of several SAP GUI transactions.

Why use the Fiori app

• One web interface for reviewing production proposals, with an easy search.

• Faster navigation from the order list to the order details.

• Runs in the browser, including on mobile devices.

Open the app and pick an order

• Log in to the SAP Fiori launchpad.

• Search for Manage Planned Orders and open the app.

• Use the search to narrow the planned order list, then open the order you want to review.

What each section tells you

Header

The key facts of the order: material, plant, planned order quantity, basic dates and production version. Check these before anything else.

Assignment

The planner responsible for the order. In production support it tells you who owns the planning activity and who to talk to.

Master Data

The planning master data SAP used when it created the order: planning parameters, production version and BOM. Use it to confirm the system picked what you expected.

Action Control

The actions performed on the order, its current processing status, and when it was last updated or processed.

Component Overview

All BOM components of the order with their required quantities, for example a semi-finished part SFG100 and a raw material RAW100 . This is the screen to verify components before production starts.

Checklist: "components are missing or wrong"

• Open the order and confirm material, plant, quantity and dates in the Header.

• On Master Data, check the production version and BOM. The production version decides which BOM alternative and routing the order uses.

• On Component Overview, compare components and quantities with the BOM you expected.

• On Action Control, see when the order was last processed and its current status.

• Use Assignment to bring in the responsible planner.

Only when these checks pass is deeper troubleshooting needed in the PP/DS or MRP transactions.

Key takeaways

• Manage Planned Orders puts list, header, master data and components in one Fiori app.

• The Header and Master Data sections answer most "why this quantity or version" questions.

• Component Overview is the first stop for missing or incorrect component requirements.

• Assignment and Action Control tell you who owns the order and what last happened to it.
